How to Place Cabinet Handles and Knobs?

In traditional designs, the knob is often used for the upper cabinet and the pull rod is used for the lower cabinet. The current design is not limited to this. Our thoughts on this design should be more varied.

The cabinet drawer knob (below 24 inches) should be installed in the middle of the drawer panel, but it should be installed vertically on the upper third of the drawer panel. It is recommended to add a second knob for drawers that are 24 inches or wider. The installation rules for cabinet handles or cup handles are the same as above.

 

Two screws are usually required to install a finger pull or a cup pull. The bottom screws of the upper cabinet are installed in the opposite position to the top screws of the bottom cabinet.

 

The label, edge, or finger handle is slightly different from how the knob or handle is installed. The finger handle is installed in a position aligned with the corner edge of the door. The finger handle of the upper cabinet is installed to the bottom corner of the door. For the bottom cabinet, the fingers are installed on the top corner of the door.
